Another popular subject for postcard enthusiasts to collect is industry. Collieries, Mines and Factory are very sought after, especially real photographic examples. When you add to this the popularity of mining disasters then you will find some very interesting industrial postcards opportunities for collectors. The Cornish Tin Mines produced by E.A. Bragg can command 3-figure prices but when you consider their historical interest you can understand why. I have always found factories of interest as this was where I started my engineering career. A noisy and dirty Factory of 3,000 workers is somewhere you grow up quickly!
