Fairground postcards for sale to collectors. Fairgrounds have always been a popular subject for postcard collectors. Maybe they bring back happy childhood memories of seaside holidays or travelling fairs to our local town. Real photographic fairground postcards have always been highly sought after especially the more scarce examples of travelling fairs to smaller towns and villages. I can certainly see the attraction for postcard collectors choosing this subject to collect. They are fun postcards and a wonderful example of social history from over 1-hundred years ago.
