Expedition Postcards have always been highly sought after and they certainly bring to life the conditions that these early explorers had to go through to reach their goals. Even these days explorers with all the modern equipment, back-up supplies and support still find it extremely challenging. You can only imagine the problems the early explorers had with transportation, navigation, basic equipment and the requirement to have enough food and fresh water for their epic journeys.
